   Do you have big solar panels on your roof? If so, you probably have a solar heater. If it is electric, it will have to be plugged into an electrical outlet very close to the water heater.

   You will probably have to have a licensed plumber to replace the electric water heater. If it is solar, I am sorry to say I can’t give you any advice.
